The 2 Principles of Jujitsu

Description
Jujitsu is guided by two complementary principles. Seiryoku Zenyo (精力善用) means making the best and most efficient use of one’s physical and mental energy: achieving the greatest effect without unnecessary force or waste. Jita-Kyoei (自他共栄) means mutual welfare and benefit: training and conduct should help oneself and others develop and prosper together. Combined, the principles teach that skill should be both effective and beneficial.
